Ryan is the Director of Deferred Compensation and a Financial Advisor at Lineweaver Financial Group. He began his career in financial advising in 2004 and now leads the firm’s Deferred Compensation Department, focusing on complex retirement and compensation planning through disciplined, coordinated financial strategies.

Ryan specializes in deferred compensation planning across a wide range of programs, including DROP and PLOP plans, multiple Ohio public pension systems, healthcare and retirement income planning, and comprehensive, integrated financial planning. His work centers on aligning deferred compensation decisions with broader investment, tax, insurance, and retirement strategies—ensuring each component works together to support long-term financial security.

Ryan is known for his thoughtful, client-centered approach. He takes the time to understand each client’s goals, priorities, and concerns, providing clear guidance and consistent communication throughout the planning process. His advisory work spans retirement planning, strategic asset allocation, portfolio management, insurance planning, and long-term care strategies. In addition to individual advising, Ryan regularly hosts investment seminars and educational presentations for businesses and civic organizations, helping clients and organizations better understand complex financial topics.

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, and maintains Series 63 and Series 66 securities licenses, along with life and health insurance licenses. Outside the office, Ryan is active in his community and volunteers with several local nonprofit organizations. He enjoys golf, reading, yoga, competitive softball, live music, hiking, and spending time outdoors. Ryan and his wife, Lindsay, live in Shaker Heights with their son and daughter.
